Understanding Cookies & Local Storage

In addition to standard cookies, Saker Searstep utilizes HTML5 Local Storage (`localStorage`), which functions like a private pocket notebook within your browser, storing your marked calibre seals and visual atmosphere choices on this device.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are technically indispensable for the operation of the platform. They cannot be disabled without breaking user authentication or session security:

Our client-side JavaScript engine uses prefixed local storage keys to deliver personalized atelier functionality without transmitting unnecessary telemetry:

Google Consent Mode v2 Architecture
Saker Searstep strictly implements Google Consent Mode v2 in compliance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). By default, all analytical storage and advertising signals are configured to 'denied' before any script loads:

Advertising and personalization remain permanently off. Analytical cookies are only activated if you explicitly select "Allow Analytics" via our consent banner or preferences center.
